Quit my courier job, and I had asked a friend to get me in at a construction company, he called me on friday (last day of work) at lunch and told me I start Monday.

So tomorrow morning I'll be doing construction (been out of that for a while). Punch, nice inside work, and all the roads are paved so I don't have to worry about rambling my e30 :P

Just got home from grabbing tools I'm missing (and a bunch of stuff I just plain wanted). Oh well but yeah new job.

For the last 2 years or so I have run a Maaco paint & body shop .
My shop is not exactly your typical Maaco however as I do plenty of custom jobs and upscale work .

I do everything from a cheapy $229 paint job to full collision and I even employ a full-time mechanic so I even offer full mechanical service .

I'm not the owner but I run place like its mine and do everything but come out of pocket if we don't cover our overhead during any given time .

Will only be doing this till next nov at the longest, even shorter if we find a buyer sooner .

Plans are to take our second shop which currently is a mechanical service only shop and turn it into a independent one stop shop with full mechanical and body services .

I've always like to work on cars on the side and sell a few parts now and then but now the $$ I make per car on the side is just not worth it anymore .
Work commitments and personal time have made working on cars not fun and also there is never time for me to work on my own stuff anymore .

911/Police/Fire Dispatcher for the 8th busiest airport in the world. I also work part time, 12 to 20 hours a week, as a firefighter for the city I live in.

Thinking about a change of scenery in the next year and may relocate to Ohio where my family lives. I'll probably head back to school at the same time and finish my degree.

I play D1 NCAA Golf for the University of Oregon. I have about 3 terms left on a degree in business with a focus on management. I was an accounting major for about two years, but that stuff just was not going to be for me long term. I worked for a large golf/entertainment organization here in OR for the last few years doing accounting and other financial work (place had 36 holes, did weddings, receptions, parties, etc.). I now work for a dental startup company doing some financial stuff as well as sales. We primarily sell injection mold plastic crowns and recently developed some new impression trays and bite-blocks that are becomming popular sellers.

I am currently enrolled in the German "mechatroniker"(mechanic/automotive electrician) 3 year program. I am working at the local BMW dealership (an apprenticeship program)here, and have been doing this now for about 4 months.- will be a 3.5 year thing.
Previously I was working for Lockheed Martin here in Germany as a Contract Mechanic repairing/ refurbishing U.S. Army tanks/trucks going and coming from Iraq. Quite doing that when I realized how shitty of a company Lockheed Martin in Germany is!! Did that for 6 years.
and before that was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, did a total time of 8 years, till I realized i hated babysitting retards.( not saying all soldiers are, just the ones I seemed to get)
Dont plan on living in Germany forever(have to see how everything turns out) But want to one day sell our house and all of our crap here, Move back to the N.W. area and buy a small home and start an independant shop working on either classic american cars 55-57 Chevys, or pos. european cars.
