Car 0 , Concrete 1 - Look at what's left of this 6 series
Do you think it hit the wall, and half of the car is on the other side of the road (i can't tell if it's all on one side of the road or both) ? But I don't see how it didn't end up in the river....
edit: but seriously wtf did it hit....maybe the driver lost control at XXx mph, spun out, hit a tree which severed the front end from the mid/rear sending the front into the wall of the river, rear ending up on the curb? i ono, thats what im thinking...poor passenger...he gotz splayed over the center console
The thought that an aluminum front subframe attached at the firewall would not withstand side impact has always been in the back of my mind. Thanks for confirming my theory.
The front clip on the new 5/6/7 series is made to separate, so it can be replaced easily. The impact was still very hard, but not as bad as if it was, say, an e30 with the front clip ripped off.
Is that blood dripping down the center console?
The air filter is laying on the ground, next to the car. It hit so hard, the air filter came out!
wow. feel sorry for the poor guy in it. however you gotta think he must of been really off his rocker, speeding, maybe drunk, i think its in Georgia (not the state)
and we all know former soviets love to drink that clear water we in America call vodka
