If reading the bible didnt turn you atheist this just might. http://atheistdelusion.cf.huffingtonpost.com/
Basically, as science better explains where we came from, Christians defend the bible more by saying "You can't look at the Bible literally, you have to look at it metaphorically." Well, where do the facts in the bible end, and where do the metaphors begin? Actually, the bigger question is, who wrote Genesis? They say that it's God's word, and God was speaking to us in metaphors... Fuck, I could go on and on about how fucking messed up it all is..
Oh yeah, that video is lame.Comment

Well, bag on it all you want, I thought that was great! I love it when kids can do such a creative & good job of putting a Christian spin on something.
Christianity is just like a lot of other things in life - there's a few overly zealous individuals that set a bad example, and then people focus on them and generalize that it's all that way.
Even Muslims (sp?), I bet if you asked around 99.9% would say the .01% that do the "holy suicide bombing" thing are the rotten apples in their religion, and that for the most part they just want to pray & serve Allah in a way that's not harmful to society.
That was cool that the kids did a good enough job to make it the full song, and to make lyrics that rhymed & everything. It looks to me like they have a passion for their religion, and they wanted to have a little fun and praise God all at the same time. I think they would be cool kids to know, they sure are creative.
If you look around, ask a few questions, and check people out for yourself I bet you find a lot of totally cool people you like that are of some religion or another.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.Comment

BTW I would have posted the same remark if it were Muslim, Sionist, Protestant or any Christian propaganda media. I find it to be be equally SPAM as "pills that grow your manhood" or "Cherry wants to be your friend". Religion happens within you, it is a personal matter. Those who want to share their faith may perhaps go to church or sinagogue, or else.
We all know the principle of separation between church and state (just a theorical principal in the US - God Bless America). Now let's extend it it to church and car forums. :pimp:

My point is that your public relations message leaves much to be desired; you are entitled to your opinion, but is this the stance Massive Brakes wants to take? You shot yourself in the foot.I Timothy 2:1-2Comment

Your logic suggests that posts about software, music, video game consoles, and of course, religion are not appropriate for a car forum, and anything non-car related is spam. Your point would be well taken if this was not the Off Topic forum.

Hi MarkSeven. I will respect the fact that you may want to involve religion in every aspect of other's life. I just don't think the same, and expressed my opinion. That being said, I will not shut up only because I also happen to design and sell brakes. I am not anti-religion, I am only for keeping personal matters, well, personal. Before you buy a can of Coke, Pepsi, or DrPepper, do you check what side its president voted, or what side of any god he is?
If you want to boycott Massive only because you don't appreciate that I prefer to keep religion matters into a personal matters, it is your own choice.
BTW just to help you make a decision, I am atheist. 100% non-religious. I believe in humans, not gods.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
