I just chunked out on a new motorcycle so not much more spending going on here. But I am comfortable with my preps and stand to make some money if the ban does come to pass.

I have been saving for a big big big real estate purchase so thats where most of my money has been going, and I am light in most all of my stores for what might be on the horizon. Wifey is not really happy with what I have been pulling out the bank lately but is supportive. I just hope this shit will not effect my Laupa buy I am holding off on till next spring.

the family has land but its in MS. Id love to trade some of it for land out in Montana or Wyoming. We currently grow corn and soybean and the next door neighbor has 2000 acres of cat fish ponds. If you want to come bug out, please stock up on Tater Sauce and Butter. :)

I go about 2 times a month. I have been saving ammo for over 15 years. Im still shooting IMI 855 that I got for $200 per 1k.

Ive been shooting for about 42 years now, but even $400 a month in ammo seems excessive, at least for me.

Just curious, what do you do when you toss 1000 rounds in one range visit? Is it just all target shooting?

And wolf ammo I got for $99 shipped for 1k.

In .223? My 1000 round counts are for .223, .308, and 12 ga. each.

I keep a good amount of hand gun ammo on hand as well.

Also I have been reloading for about 4 years.

I should...its a good idea for anybody who shoots on a regular basis, but my income is largely disposable, so I havent taken the plunge yet.

Was looking at buying a complete kit that includes everything but a stripped lower, then picking up a stripped lower for $150 ish.

Just picked up a second gun. The Ruger SR22 pistol, just came out a few weeks ago. Basically a better version of the Walther P22. Got it for cheap practice and so my wife will come shooting with me. Its an awesome little gun for about the same price as the low end Buckmarks or Mark III's

I was looking at P22 vs. MarkIII a while ago, but got distracted by other things. Now I'm back looking to buy a 22 and considering the options but a better version of the P22 from Ruger is very appealing.

150 For a stripped lower is pretty high IMO. I got mine for 100 bucks at the gun store. Thats going to be a big money saver is getting the stripped lower at a gun store so you do not have to pay an FFL transfer fee.

Del-ton is a good place to work with especially for flexibility. There's also J&T Distributing, JSE surplus, and Palmetto state armory has pretty good deals.

A popular way to keep the price of your AR down is to buy your lower at the gun store, order a lower parts kit from somewhere, and then order a complete upper from somewhere and put it all together yourself. And if you can work on an E30, then assembling a lower is no problem ;)

Cool thanks sleeves. Pretty much every friend who shoots said MkIII, but haven't gotten any opinions since the SR22 came out.
