I was looking at P22 vs. MarkIII a while ago, but got distracted by other things. Now I'm back looking to buy a 22 and considering the options but a better version of the P22 from Ruger is very appealing.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Sadly its more like people that are not familiar with firearms buying firearms because they figure they might not ever be able again if they ever wanted to. This puts a lot of firearms out in the community. Most of which will never be fired or rarely fired. This also creates hazards because "everyone" is a marksman. Just go to a public range on the weekend. I feel like wearing body armor because the fuds are freaking clueless.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Just curious, what do you do when you toss 1000 rounds in one range visit? Is it just all target shooting?
No its more like tactical drills. Bench shooting is only fun if Im developing a hand load. I dont find much skill in shooting 100 yards. When I bring out the class 3 stuff its more for my friends and a little trigger time just to enjoy class 3.
I should...its a good idea for anybody who shoots on a regular basis, but my income is largely disposable, so I havent taken the plunge yet.

The P22 itself got removed from consideration as soon as I saw the SR22 and read multiple reviews it wad a better P22 than the P22. The question remains which Ruger, or if another 22 would be considered.
Then the real option would be the Mark III or the Buck mark

I shoot because its something I have always been good at and I enjoy things that go boom. Im single and dont have children so my income is spent how I see fit. I have been blessed.

I apologize for getting in the way of your bragging and showing off, like you do having your friends enjoy firing your Class 3 weapons when you show off at the range. You can return to your regularly scheduled e-ballin'.

you are a bit late to the party as Gasturbine just came to this thread about a month or two. When he came in, he was a bit aggressive to some others that are less knowledgeable. Im just making a fact that I kinda know my shit when it comes to this topic. I even give you spot on advice in this thread.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

He asked how I go though a thousand rounds a day at the range. Well try shooting full auto. Its fun but I have fun getting others in the sport and nothing is more fun to watch than someone shooting full auto for the first time.
Again keep your shit to yourself unless directed to you and Ill still offer sound advice on this topic and even show you the best deals if you were ever looking. Thanks for caring!Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

As stated above, you can't go wrong with ANY of the Ruger mkII's, mkIII's, 22/45 or ANY of the Browning Buckmarks. They're all fantastic pistols.

they are both the tops when it comes to 22 cal pistols. There are two fan clubs and it comes down to brand loyalty. The Mark series has been around for quite some time, so its got a heritage following. The Buck Mark was set out to knock the Mark III off its perch. They are both very modifiable and suppressed you hear nothing but the action. You cant go wrong with either. Shoot both and take the one you like.
If you want a serious gun forum check out AR15.com. Every manufacture is on there and will answer direct questions. Mostly military and police. But be careful, they are very right sided and will give you a run for your money when it comes to your other views. :)Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

This has nothing to do with the recent incident(s)!!!!!
I have been waiting for my first paycheck at my first real job after graduating to buy some stuff! As a reward :)
I set aside some of the first 2 weeker for something fun!
What you guys buy with $1,000? And saving is out of the question because that's where the rest went. This has been long awaited!
I was planning on picking up an m&p45c in fde but the stupid gun craze ruined that plan for now
I need some pistol mags, maybe a little ammo
I have been wanting to get into the reloading game. I have saved my brass for some time as I knew eventually I would start
Would investing in a setup be a good idea you think? It's either this or I'm thinking a couple handguns or a rifle or something. The only reason I'm on the fence about it is where to set it up.. Don't have a solid area for it
Thoughts? What kind of setupss do you have? I'm local to Dillon and my good buddies shop does all of the work on their 1050's. so I'm leaning towards them for easy access to anythingYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
