Man, i've missed a lot of fun lately! 
I'm not so convinced a large portion of these new laws will not become a reality. The general public is pretty panicked, in CT it's crazy, but understandably so. I see a high cap mag ban coming nationwide. Malloy in CT said he would not pursue further gun restrictions but "does not see any reason someone needs a 30rd mag." CT does not currently have a mag ban.
But, time will tell. Write your elected officials, participate in any protests and marches at the local level, and sign any and all petitions online. Best we can do. in the mean time, buy what ammo etc you can. Up here 9mm can be found NOWHERE. .223/5.56 is slim but ive grabbed about 1000rds over the last month or so whenever i see any.
I was pretty set for mags, had two preban 30rds and a 20rd but a local friend sold me 6 mags for $90 after the price sky rocketed on pmags and everything else, so now im set. Dont pay crazy money for them. Supply will catch up and people will be wondering why they paid 5-8 x as much for a pmag.
Enough politics...now onto some pics!
Updated my AR with a grip. Not really sure if i like it. The OE handguards on the LMT dont seem solid enough so the grip moves a little. May go with the Magpul AFG-1 Angled grip instead and see how that works. Like that style a lot...
