lol the factory Sako brake for my 300wm makes a hell of a dust cloud, and is somewhat ineffectual. I need to order a NEAR for it since its more of a lateral style. I dont shoot with a brake all that often, since its only a WM and the rifle itself is 15+ lbs, but it tames the recoil back down to about 308AR levels. I would not even consider shooting a 50 with out one, I have shot a 338LM both ways and while it will whollop ya with out one its not as bad as most people think its going to be

Posted a few days ago about my trade acquisition. I took the RIA 1911 out today and ran 100 rounds through it. 50 Federal, 50 Tula. Only one stovepipe with Federal and a somewhat questionable Wilson combat mag. I couldn't be happier.

Possibly considering the sale of my AT&T rig (you know reach out and touch someone) ............ BLACK Sako TRG42 in 300WM, as a total ready to go package only will not part it out. Total package as in open the case and your ready to go, with a 1760 capable rifle at sub 1/2 MOA if you can drive it already dialed in. Run some numbers, twist some knobs, breath and press.......
Specs as follows
Black TRG42 in 300Win Mag, with about 100 rounds down the pipe but no more than 125
5.5-22x56 N/F NXS with NPR-2 Non zero stop W/ 2 sunshades (purchased new from eurooptic)
NEAR manufacturing tri ring alpha mount with a 30moa base, Sitting of a Sako factory installed 20moa Pic rail.
3 factory Sako Mags (these are EXPENSIVE)
At least 3 boxes of FGGM 190gr (previous owner says it loves .208 A-max with 75gr of H-1000)
A pelican 1750 case w/foam cut for this rig, will ship in this case from my FFL to yours.
A Bipod mount, that fits into the factory location allowing the use of any 1913 rail mount bi-pod Vs the odd Sako factory set up.
No Bipod I am keeping that for my other stuff and the factory muzzle Brake I have will not be included either a good friend wants it, just the thread protector on the end. as pictured.
Glass is clean other than a couple of scratches on the top of the windage knob where the dog tripped over it and tipped it off the bags, rifle looks like its New out of the box. I also have the original sales box for both.
I still have not decided if I want to sell it yet, This is kinda more of a talk me into or out of it kinda post. I dont need to sell, but would be nice to use the cash I have tied up in this thing to put into other hobbies I partake in on more regular basis.
Price for serious buyer is to be determined, have to see what I have in it and what it would cost to replicate but is going to be somewhere slightly north of 6k I suspect .
A image is worth a 1000 words they say, Yes this the day I ran off an left my Bipod on the shelf.

That is a great setup, Nightforce demands quite a premium itself.Last edited by BLACKCHARM88; 10-29-2014, 12:59 PM.

Thanks guys I put a lot of time thought and research into this rig.
Charm: Well I want to put a Kahles K624I on it (better glass a 34mm main tube and nearly as indestructible ) and move the N/F over to my 264WM for pest and predator control, but I just dont find my self shooting much at all even when I am home anymore. I have put less that 50 rounds though thing since I put it together, I have not shot anything other than my 22LR 1911, and my hand cannon in over a year, its just so hard to get out and go, and now we have the weather changing to shit, and what spare time I have to spend in the woods I am trying to kill something or take pictures of it lol...... Not to mention though I am still buying ammo I cant hardly bring my self to shoot any of it for fear of not being able to replace its hard to shoot up stuff you bought at 50 cents a round that is now a 1.10 a round to replace....Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

Keep it. Never will get what you put into it. Guns are a good thing to pass down, too. Take a few deer with it... take it on a sweet hunt... teach a family member to shoot with it...take aa marksmanship class...
When money is tight there is only so much you can do..but this is such a personal purchase...guy looking for a long range gun is going to piece it together himself or if he has the money tell a gunsmith to build it...

thats just it money is not tight, just more of an issue of lack of use and it sitting in the safe never seeing the light of day.. Thats all, and for hunting its a bit cumbersome its Fucking heavy, at 15ish lbs and that gets really heavy by the end of the day lugging it up and down the hills we have around here ;) WM is a little tooooooooo powerful of a chambering for deer unless your going for distance lol I dont need to sell just tossing the idea around more or less at this stage of the game.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.
