thanks for the inside info, I really have not been into the toy store to look for a .380 yet, just trying to feed my .45's and 44 is enough right now, maybe when my vacation check comes in about xmass, I will get serious. But that bit about the sig decocker will prolly steer me to the same conclusion as you.
Yeah no kidding. My buddy had one for 3 months and only put one box of ammo through it because its so hard to find. He now carrys a sig 220 8)

I haven't looked yet at prices, but what do you guys think is the best caliber that won't break the bank to practice with and would be decent for conceal carry?

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

Get a sig 220 with a .22 rimfire. Mine should be here any day :p

Yeah, I just looked at 40 looks about the best. Seems to be similar to what I'm paying to feed my AR.

I'm thinking of maybe 2 pistols? a .22 to practice with, and I've always been thinking about .40 (price comparo and der affe confirmed). Is it possibly detrimental to practice with the 22 and carry the 40?

Well you can get the sig p220 .45 acp then the rimfire kit is around 350 I think so its one gun that can shoot two diffrent calibers.

I'll keep it in mind. But at 350, I'd think just buying a second pistol would be ideal? I still have some time though since I'm not yet 21 :( Don't think less of me

Niether am I. In arizona you can purchase a hand gun at the age of 18 from a private seller :)

Huh, interesting. I need to look into Colorado's rules, but I'm pretty sure its 21 regardless.

You can call your local police station and ask them or just look up your state laws.

I'll add that to my list of things to do this week if I can find the time.

Pretty sure 21 is federal regulation for hand guns.

Not correct about being 21 to legally own a pistol.

You need to chill out and not be an OT dick in this thread. You can't own whatever you want. 21 IS federal, but if you bothered reading the conversation we had, we were kind of discussing loop holes. I'll be 21 in December anyway so it really won't matter for me to wait until then.
