Actually, because its a FWD transaxle, it will make the car skid out of control and possibly flip over. But this works perfectly fine in a rear drive car. When I was a technician we had a supervisor who hated his pickup truck but they wouldn't swap out his vehicle. So one day he did exactly that- he went down the highway, shifted it in to reverse, then he brought a piece of the exploded transmission back to the office acting completely oblivious.
