Oh.. did I miss the point of this conversation? Were we supposed to be in some sort of war of words? Golly. If that was the case it surely went over my head.

I learned early on that anyone who can work with their hands will NEVER be broke. I am fortunate that I was forced to work around the house and work on the car during the weekends with my dad. Also, the best advice that anyone ever gave me was to learn a trade. Even if you don't like that particular trade or if you end up doing something else, that can be the foundational basis for being skilled with your hands.

Reading that made me realize that they need to bring shop class back into the educational system in America. Its great that you can come out of high school knowing how to build a website but if you can't assemble the computer desk or improvise the assembly when you break one of the parts, then you will be building your website while sitting on the floor.

A lot of my friends and other people that I know are not very good with the use of their hands. Sometimes I hate the fact that I gotta bail them out of their mishaps because I am the only one amongst us who is mechanically inclined.

My passion for what I do keeps me motivated. Liking what I do has a lot to do with me wanting to get out of bed in the morning. Also, I set goals on a monthly basis so if for some reason I lose sight of what I am working towards, all I have to do is concentrate on reaching my goal.

For instance I want to retire at 45 so I have mapped out the amount of money I need to earn, the amount of money that I need to save, and the amount of money that I want my business to produce on a monthly basis. I keep telling myself that as long as I meet those goals on a monthy basis, I don't have to do anything else if I don't want to. So sometimes I have days where I let my crew go home early or I might buy everyone lunch or we may sit around the office and goof off for the rest of the day which is fun to do AFTER I have reached my goals and now I have an opportunity to break up the monotony.

Well honestly, I have nothing against homosexuals. I mean if that's the kind of thing that you like, then far be it from me to judge you. And I admit that I can be homophobic at times but for the most part I have learned to accept those who are different from me. Even when a homo approaches me offering oral, I don't get offended as much as I used to. I guess that comes with being a pretty boy. :)
