EDIT: my question still remains unanswered in the other thread...
"The act aside, as many of you have already expressed different levels of sentiments, do you really feel a convicted felon should be allowed back into the NFL? Most all the rest of the convicted felons in this country will never attain that great of a position again. What message is sent with allowing a convicted felon to play again at this level?"

Its definitely interesting to read through, and see how people's opinions and feelings change, or remain the same. I just meant commenting on his statement that was so long ago was kind of pointless.Originally posted by blunti would jerk larry king off while tonging jflips ass if h0lmes would blow his head off

The whole paradox on animal cruelty is that most people will cry baby when dogs or cats are mistreated, but they widely accept that animals are raised in confinement then butchered and eaten. Killing an animal for a purpose or another is still removing life from an intelligent being. Nop, I am not a vegetarian at all, and even admit I like a nice tartare or rare T-bone, but it sometimes gets me thinking...Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I dont really know, Maluco. What makes an athlete different than any other person in an ordinary walk of life? Just because they have this god given rare ability, their faults and poor decisions should be ignored? It's a good question, and to be honest, Im not sure I know how I feel about it.
IF you just isolate this incident, I feel Vick did his time, and should be reinstated. I think the difference is though his crime was offensive, he didnt risk any humans. He doesnt pose a threat being on the field, or in the locker room. A felon in another form who has committed a violent crime, or stole over whatever the dollar amount is to be a felon, does pose a threat. Do I want a rapist or violent person working around women Id employ, or around me if I were a woman? Absolutely not. Would I want a dog killer working around me as a woman or even a man? Well, no... but more so because of moral reasons, than fear of being harmed.
For the record, I do not like Michael Vick, I do not respect Michael Vick, I have nothing positive to say about Michael Vick. That doesnt matter too much though. I feel he paid a hefty price for his stupid actions... The penalty paid was fitting, but steep none the less.
That's really the best I can describe my emotions and feelings on the situation.Originally posted by blunti would jerk larry king off while tonging jflips ass if h0lmes would blow his head off
