Wow another fucking beat down. Coming from an OSU fan, I am not even going to defend them because they once again got fucked in the ass. I have never been pissed at a game but damn this one really got under my skin.
I love my buckeyes but when in the hell are we going to actually go to the Championship game and win it.

I can hear it now... 'Well they should of played Georgia, LSU shouldn't of even played in the game... blah blah blah'
BTW, i live just on the outskirts of OSU's campus. Its silent outside right now. So wonderful.Leave a comment:

so uh, wheres this "change in momentum......"
This is what happens when a team NEVER plays anyone and is granted a chance to win a championship on simply the merit of the Big 10. OSU is a joke, two years in a row going to the BCS championship game where it was over when the coin was flipped.Leave a comment:

I see where you're coming from, but I believe that the smaller, less known underdogs are what makes college sports great. With bigger schools having more recruiting power, college sports become more like professional sports. Just like the Yankees and the Red Sox have an advantage by paying more, large market schools have the advantage in recruiting. Sure, this advantage partly comes from years of winning, but it is also comes from the deep pockets of boosters.
But in the end, I don't really care. UW is in the shits with Tyrone Willingham, and the Seahawks are about to win their first superbowl. I'll keep my posts in that thread for now.Leave a comment:

If every team besides the prominent ones didnt exist..... they could russle up some community college teams, promote em to D1A, and call them whatever you want.
My point was all these teams have their times at some point. But there are a select few that stay there. LSU is one that is just having its time, and they should enjoy it while it lasts.
But I really should be the last one to talk. Because my three most hated teams are USC #1, Ohio State #2, ND #3. But its good to have these teams around, it makes stuff interesting. Its good to have a team to root against, like the Cowboys, yankees, lakers, etc. Though that has nothig to do with what we were talking about.Leave a comment:

Ha you must seriously be retarded. Have someone intelligent explain to you what the sentence you quoted me on really means. If every team except the prominent ones didn't exist, there would be no other teams to replace them with. Make sense? Then you would have to get another couple hundred schools to replace the non storied schools. There are PLENTY more schools than Blue, OSU, etc. But LSU wouldnt be one of them. You can throw Penn St, Miami, FSU, Bama, Arkansas even, and a whole shit load of others in there.
Now lets ask this, like I already stated.... If LSU was such a great place to be, why did Les Miles include a buy out in his contract to go to the university of Michigan again? Because its not some emerging shithole that LSU is, its a franchise that will always have recruiting power.
And While Im typing this OSU is coming back on LSU, so I will shut up and go watch the Big 10 come back.
You should enroll in logic 101 at your local community college.Leave a comment:

Wow, you show a high level of ignorance here. If every team except michigan, ohio state, usc, notre dame etc. fell off the face of the earth, then what would be left? You show as much football knowledge here as you do in the nfl thread.Lol. As sad as it is, Im going for Ohio State tonight. They will be a real champion, a storied program. Unlike LSU who means absolutely nothing to the college football landscape. That shithole could fall off the face of (or into) the earth, and no one would know any difference, besides all the hillbillies and impoverished I guess.... but whos counting them anyways.
As much as I hate OSU, they are a legit program who always has, and probably always will be around (unfortunately). LSU better try to rack up what they can while they can.
Oh, and the PAC 10 is clearly the best conference in the BCS :giggle:Leave a comment:
