Why the hell does eveyone say this shit, I dont' even think of just the Miami/OSU championship...its every f*cking game. There are going to be shitty calls in every game. You could go back to tons of games and say, if that didn't happen these guys would have won the game.

I dislike OSU and the U both. not the U so much now, because theyre not so good. but during that game, i had no real rooting interest. I was rooting against OSU, because theyre OSU.. .but I was also rooting against Miami because of the ir dominance. but with that said, Miami got fucked over. Bad calls do happen. It is just a little different though when bad calls basically end a game though.

And FWIW, Hawaii wouldnt have gotten into the title picture either way. They were undefeated, and didnt deserve to be there. I think out of 119 teams, their strength of schedule was somewhere around like 117 lol.

Here..I'll give you one. If the refs would have gotten the call right with the CLEAR fumble during the Illinios/OSU game, OSU would have won the game, would have went undeafeted and would be playing Hawaii in the Championship game. Funny thing is, I hear most of these stupid bullshit excuses from dumbass Michigan fans..I have many, since my home town is on the border of Michigan/Ohio. I would usually agree with you, since I though this year was actually going to be a "down" year for Ohio State because of all the talent we lost to the draft...but doesnt' seem like it turned out that way.

To find a Michigan national championship, you would have to go back to 1948. This would be going on nearly 60 years. 60 years of misery, 60 years of abject failure. 60 years of having to lose to a glorified high school football team. 60 years leading up to being unable to overcome the man whom is the true second coming, Coach Jim Tressel.

So you looked up a video of Chad Henne being horrible. Hes not good, so what? Im sure youre very proud of Bobby Hoying being the OSU quarterback at one point. Some of that footage was from Freshman year also, so that doesnt really count. And a video of when Donte Whittner was still at OSU, which means it was at latest Henne's Sophomore year.

You do talk alot of shit when the last time we won a championship was. And yes, it was 1997. The last time OSU won the championship was in 2002, when they robbed Miami. Miami had that game won, when Sean Taylor (I Think it was sean, or it was DJ williams, one first round draft pick) threw up his helmet and had to leave the scene for a play where OSU scored. That game was clearly won by Miami, had a bullshit call not occurred LATE.

So they have won it 5 years after we did last, congrats. Dont count on it being won this year, thats for sure. And as far as Michigan even being in a bowl game, yes, they are. Its vs. Florida in the Capital one bowl. Had 4 of the top 5 teams ahead of OSU not choked, or Dennis Dixon doesnt get hurt, OSU isnt even in the game.

ND won what, 1 game this year? Lets not put them in the same sentence as Michigan.

And also, Les Miles is talking to Michigan again, and will probably take the job after he wins the championship. And if he doesnt, I say we promote English to head coach.

People not like my reasoning for why we're going over OSU, but here's the rub:

- We have a SHIT LOAD more exposure in general, and particularly this year, than OSU can dream of having. I can name one player on their team because he got hurt, and I heard that was good for us.
- We have Nike.
- our AD has a LOT more money, more donors, and overall will travel better than OSU will.
- We are a better football team, BUT not when we are playing the 5th string QB and 13 starters are out of the lineup. Every team is beat up, but damn we got destroyed this year.
- Finally, OSU just has not done what they need to do to market themselves more agressively nationally. People on the east coast, regardless of how bad we started to suck due to injury, watched us on national TV win BIG games... they know we can play and will actually draw some viewers who may not otherwise have watched.

It's too bad though, because those people will watch us get our asses pounded into fetal submission.
