And to respond to Beau; Texas in 2006 was not as good as texas of 2005. They beat OSU by 3 in 2005 and after Vince Young they lost by 17.

I agree with that, but in 2006 they were still a tough team

As much as I hate OSU, and as badly as they got outplayed this year in the championship game, theyre still scary. This was their "down year"? If thats so, thats a scary thought. I hope its not true, but to get to the game on a down year is fucking nice.
Who gives a fuck about respect and if you should or shouldnt be in a game? I would schedule cupcakes too, win em all and go to the championship game. Id take that extra $4mil or whatever and run with it.Leave a comment:

You seemed to forget that we are playing USC next year.. so your weak schedule goes out the window.. So playing Texas in 2005 and 2006 is weak as well?
Also.. if look at the arrests from most of the riots, (not all) the majority of the people arrested don't even go to Ohio State.Leave a comment:

Yeah, the same Georgia that would beat LSU or USC. Got a chance last year at a bowl game and were run about by WV and Slaton. We will never know, but opinions are like assholes, everyones got one. [Or two if you are a player on the current OSU team

Ga Troy was a pretty good game if I remember correctly. I would hope we were number 10 when we beat Troy, but not going into the bowl games.Leave a comment:

You know why it is so hard for an SEC team to win a national championship? Because we beat each other up and beat each other causing us to not go to a championship. Face it, the SEC is the hardest conference to compete in.Leave a comment:

Wow!It’s an exaggeration buddy, what makes the internet go round. You and I both know [as well as what appears to be many of the members posting on here] that OSU has had a very weak schedule for YEARS! It’s not just this past year or the one before. In 2006 they were ranked BCS preseason 1st place and didn’t lose a single game and went on to get creamed in the worst appearance in a college football nation championship game. Why, you may ask? Because they play powder puff schedules**. This year is no exception, they lost to Illinois, who were then demoralized in the rose bowl by no other than USC.
My disgust is with the weak schedules’ and watching news programs where the first 15 minutes are about football here in Columbus Ohio. The fans are no better. Remember the old rule 'They riot if they lose, the riot if they win' I personally witnessed cars being flipped after last years loss to UF basketball game! Not even football.
Powder puff: youngstown state , akron, washington, minnesota [0-8], kent state.
End of fucking fairytale for OSU. The idiots on 'Buckeye Fever' right after the game were commenting on the recruits of next year and returning players resulting in another team that could take the national championship game. What makes you think that the BCS will get a shot after two years of awful showings?
EDIT: Ohhh 2008 looks hard too. youngstown state, ohio university, troy fucking university, minnesota, northwestern, and illinois.
Well put!Leave a comment:
