I started getting annoyed when I went to the DMV and had trouble finding a book with English as the primary language. Why is the DMV the center for all non-English language related activities? I go to take my "special points test" and had trouble understanding the proctor, the other people taking the test, the study material, it was just refuckindiculous.

Ya, but do you want some guy who can't read english to learn driving from an english language manual? They wouldn't understand a thing, and then they'd be even worse drivers than they already are. When it comes to life and death stuff like driving a huge metal projectile, I figure we should try and help them understand as much as possible so they don't get someone killed. As for other crap like nutrition facts on food and other stuff, english only IMO.

Maybe make all other info in secondary languages available, but make sure to stock the english versions first. Oh yeah, get rid of pressing 2 for english while their at it.

If they can't read English, they shouldn't be able to pass a driving test. If they can pass a test without reading English, the tests need to be harder.

I don't see many Spanish road signs. What do these people do when there is important signs that they can't read?

On the other side of the fence, I guess you can't instantly learn a language if you come to this country. And you need a vehicle to get to a job.

While were on the topic of minorities/majorities, I read in the paper today that for every 1 black living in college housing, there are 3 living in prison. And the hispanic ratio is 1 to 2.7. White and other is like 3 to 1 IIRC.

I was just shocked by the numbers so i figured id share.
