So I'm going to pick up a hardtail when I get back to CA...I've been looking in the 4-500 range, and came up with these...I've been doing a lot of reading, but there are SO many variables in components, I don't know if one sticks out as the clear choice on paper...I'll go test ride them all, but what do you guys think of these:

    Fisher Wahoo
    Fisher Advance
    Fisher Tarpon
    Cannnondale F9
    Trek 4300

It seems like Fisher gives you higher quality components for the same money, is that accurate? I can't fucking tell any more, I've read too much.

Thanks for the input. I'm 6'3", 185, will be riding some technical/intermediate stuff pretty much right away, but my budget is what it is.
92 325ic 5 speed, hard top, windscreen, 133k, for sale

i run 42/16 and used to skid with ease. 13 may be tougher but ive seen plenty of people skid with it. even 52/12

Bro tell me about it. I think I found some Campy clips , and campy straps vintage. :) May not be able to afford it though. Speaking of not being able to afford shit, I would love to see HED tri spoke tubular wheels on this bitch. :giggle:

            Video I made super quick.
Riding is all my friend. I filmed and edited super quick and shitty. The sound is off in the video. I hate YouTube. I uploaded a 1080i HD video and it turned shitty in YouTube.

What is that frame and what size? Any chance of selling just the frame set?

Went out riding tonight for about 3 hours, just me riding all over town. I LOVE my new wheelset, they are light as hell, spin up super-fast, and my hubs are smooth as butter.

The wheels are strong, they dont flex that much. They feel solid. Bro Im holed up at the house, just had surgery on my jaw and teeth. I can still ride though
