Definitely go for a 54cm. With a nice short stem I think you would feel just right on a 54. I'm almost 5'11" and I ride a 56cm. I like it a lot but I do feel somewhat stretched out on the bike. Those Merciers run a little big too so a 54cm would be perfect for you. What's your inseam?

thats what i was afraid of. i've riden a 56 and i do seem a bit stretched out aswell. the only sucky thing is, is that bike in that color only comes in 50cm or under. :( also i'm not sure what my inseam is, i haven't measured it. i'll most likly go with something around 54-55 ish. thanks alot for all your help.

Hey, by the way, here is that bike I was talking about.

          My friend Marc's Cannondale.

So purpose built and nice to ride. Great execution on it, with all nice parts.

Interesting, thanks for the picture man. It does look like a nice bike, I'm pretty satisfied with mine how it is though. Time will tell...

That thing looks huge. Go ride it and try it out!

Its a good price, AT LEAST give that everything still works.

                          Looks great!
So I decided against that bike above. I actually ate lunch with my dad and showed it to him. He said "why would you buy that when I have2 perfectly good bikes at the house?" So we went to my parent's house and low and behold.... I brought them home. 1 for me and 1 for the wife. Originally I was looking at single speeding a retro bike, but this one is too nice to do that to, so I will keep my eyes open for a beater.

                          And the wife's

I have absolutly no clue as to the value of these bikes. All i know is when my dad buys something he doesn't fuck around. He seems to think he bought these in the early 80s. Anyone know anything about them?

Looks sick though. You know I don't know shit about bikes... but things in carbon fiber just make me happy. :)

Is it possible to skid with a 13t cog? What do you guys without brakes run in terms of gear ratios?
