Oh man just stumbled accross this beauty on eBay, Bidding is at $375AU with less than 3 and 1/2 hours to go... SOOO TEMPTING!!!1
Carbon forks, Bottom bracket and head bracket included.
Onlt thing holdng me back is I really wanted to start my next bike from the ground up, pain everything how I wanted it, buy all the parts that I wanted etc... I could never paint that bianchi frame!
I fell off my bike doing a track stand today, my shoelace got caught in my toe clip, and I couldn't get out when I started to tip over, so I fell over and fell right onto my friend's girlfriend's bike, and bent the fuck out of her rear wheel, also put a small dent in the top tube because it was leaning against a bench. Took it down and I paid to have it fixed for her, I felt so fucking dumb. Probably won't be a big deal though, she probably won't stick with riding it for long.
I road my friends road bike for a little bit yesterday because he left it at my house, and I can really see the appeal behind riding.
It really is alot of fun.
defiantly feel you on that you should try a fixie it is also a lot of fun especially cause you always have to concentrate as you can't coast and mostly brake with your legs so you have to pan every move which adds a whole new level to riding.
buying an IRO is following the crowd just as much as buying a pista. Buy what u want and ride it. That's my advice. Also don't trackstand next to your GF's bike with untied shoes. ;)

It wasn't my girlfriend, it was my friend's girlfriend!
And my shoes were tied, but these shitty toe clips that came with my bike have this little tab where it goes over the top of my shoes, that likes to grab onto my shoelaces.
