Just kidding.
I dont have a pic of my bike but its a Windsor Fens that I bought online. The frame is no frills type but the components are shimano 105s with carbon fiber fork and saddle. Im considering buying a roof rack for my e30 now.
It's the "0" frame but the "4" build kit. I had to special order it as they don't offer this frame/group together. The TCR SL 4 is an absolutely gross white/green colorway. I did spring for the carbon stem and a new Romin Carbon saddle. I'm running my 6700 carbon pedals too. Full build came in a shade over 16lbs with cages, but being a shade over 200lbs myself I wasn't too worried about weight. I just wanted it to be stiff.
The only difference in the 0,1,2,3,4 is the groupset anyway. All of the SL frames are the same except for the paint.
Nope, I haven't. I can tell you this bike is pretty stiff though, but not in a bad ride quality kind of way. More like every bit of power is transmitted from the pedal to the wheel kind of stiff. I think frame comfort is overrated anyway. I can tell a much bigger difference from the tires/rims/air pressure I run than from the frame itself. The TCR just looks so hot.
Awesome. I've sold giant road bikes on and off for years. I can't say enough good things about them. You're going to love the shit outta it!
Years ago, back when Jan Ullrich was still riding, I tested the one of the T-Mobile bikes at Interbike, essentially the same bike Jan rode in the Tour that year. I folded the big ring sprinting up a hill (FSA cranks and rings). The bike was flexible and flimsy feeling. When I returned the remains of the bike my comment was "I know why Jan lost the tour this year..." Through out the rest of the weekend here and there I'd hear people talking about the guy who folded the big ring on the T-Mobile bike. The guys in the FSA booth were all talking about it. I didn't walk up and say I was the one who did it. Did I feel a little proud to gain such notoriety? Yeah kinda. That said I had one of the top 3 highest peak power outputs at the Powertap booth for the weekend. I thought I had a free Powertap in the bag one of the days until some pro BMX guy gave it a shot with 5 min left in the day and beat me by about 150 Watts.
Haha that's proud! Eric Carter came to Redlands one year and killed all us roadies in the 2 - up sprint prologue. The 4x/bmx dudes are amazing sprinters and kill the wind gate right under the arch sprint guys
