    Home theater projectors

    Im considering buying one. Im interested if anybody in the community knows much about these. im looking to buy one within the next month. Ive looked around on ebay but still not sure what im looking at and dunno if it is a good buy or not.

              we got ours at costco - $800 for a 15' screen, looks fantastic with a plain old DVD player and component inputs. even divix files look good. you can get high def ones now but they cost quite a bit.

                      do you have to have a completely dark room to make it look good??

                              we use it more in the winter - it's not so bad if there's a bit of ambient light, but obviously not when there is directly sunlight.

                                      Whats better CRT LCD DLP? or is it a personal preference thing. ive noticed that the lcd's are more expensive.

                                              Epson makes some great projectors, as well as BenQ. We have a 1080p Epson projector in the theater room of our showroom. About a $4k projector, but fucking amazing. They make much cheaper ones than that, though.
