I never said I found it surprising, I've taken note of it before, just this game took it too far. I would rather watch the Spanish soccer channel, and not understand anything they are saying other than GOOOLLLLLLASOO, rather than listen to announcers ramble on about how powerful and fierce the US team is, and how "unfair" the ref is being.
so again, not getting the point. You're watching an American channel about an American team . Rather have an announcer that can talk about the game and cheer for her team in a situation like this
Good job sweden I guess, I hate their fucking dance though.
I like that british guy for sure, but kind of dumb founded how you find this surprising. like... seriously.
... AND HURRAY JAPAN!

Lol and neither is Argentina, in regards to all the Messi haters.
Yea feel bad for him, people seem to forget this is 11V11
Yea messi is god-like but you just can't expect him to do everything i feel like ppl expect to be a keeper also lol keep goals out.
You can't do much if your NT isn't playing to it's full potential
Barca fan defending his boy...not at all biased lol
You go w/ the line up that will produce and get you the win. I like the adjustment that both Brasil and Argentina made in their respective games. The big boys finally woke up, sort of.
;)
Yup lol
Then again Brazil isn't Barca, makes sense, right?

Brasil came up on Ecuador...al fin some jogo bonito. Maicon in the starting lineup was HUGE. He played well and created a TON of scoring chances. I start him over Alves.
As meta said (BarcaForum)
"shame Dani had to be made the scapegoat for Lolcio being inept, but there ya go. Maicon's probably a better fit for a bunch of self-indulgent dribblers anyway. he's basically a foosball player with a vertical bar. up-down, up-down, he doesn't give a fuck he'll just go. and that always makes him a good outlet pass."
I watched the women's quarterfinals USA vs. Brazil. Honestly I'm never watching a USA game again. All the announcers do for 90 minutes is talk up the players and make, in my opinion, arrogant and inaccurate statements about the opposing team. Any time the ref made a call in favor of Brazil, there was an uproar of the announcers, but when an *inaccurate* call was made in favor of the US, they fell silent. Announcers should be neutral.
