I've put a few big ones together. I generally lay them out on the floor or table right side up and use post its to line everything up and hold the pages together. Then I carefully flip it over and tape the back. I've also seen the pages pasted to the foam-core boards trimmed to size, and then attached to the wall individually on spacers, so it's kind of floating off the wall...looks pretty cool.
This is an awesome idea - but whats the ideal paper type/printer type?

Good point to mention. Obviously photo glossy paper would be best I guess, but for those that are doing this on a budget, you use whatever your company offers :roll:
On the menu today in my marketing department, we have 8 1/2 x 11 A4 Imaging Finish paper. Has a nice texture and is used for official letters and letterhead. It has nice weight from my test rasterbations and seemed to hold still nicely when i laid it out the first time.
