Global Warming: What do you think? What do you know?
I didn't have time to read all the post so ill just give my two cents.
I don't personally believe that global warming is due to human interferance. Like it was said before it has only been 150 years of industrilization, which is nothing in the big picture. It is also hard to believe that in the last five years or so it has drastically gotten worse. Changes in the earth takes 1000 of years so for global warming to have happened 150 years is like making your Fiat 500 as fast as a topfueler.

I also do not like Al Gore but I do support what he is doing. If it was not for him people would still not care about there carbon emissions. At lease he has had enough effect on the average human kind so that Car Companies, Petrol Giants, Goverments, and Energy Companies are trying to make there products more greener which no matter how you look at it is a good thing.
Someone mentioned that alot of money is being poored in to going green. Well that is fantasic, the more money being spent the more jobs there are. But it has also been a while since a major technological revolution, and as we all know the greatest time of technoligy moving forwards in leaps and bounds is during a crisis period. So I am hoping with the current "Crisis" that we may see the first Fussion Reactor, Or a mass produced full electric car that can trave more then 5 foot.
Anyway thats my thoughs on the matter.
dude
read the article
this has nothing to do with whether green is the way to go
“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

yeah, yeah, we all know Al Gore is a shithead. I'm against this global warming hysteria, but I do think now (well, once the economy comes back) is the time to invest in new and improved energy sources.
Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus announced his plan to have one carrier strike group completely fuelled with alternative energy by 2012, and deployable by 2016, as well as a host of other ambitious goals. Read a little bit more about it, then some interesting stuff about the viability of algae-based bofuels, here.

It's been stated on multiple pages before; this thread is to address thoughts on global warming as it pertains to the idea that humans generated global warming or attribute to it, not whether the Earth goes through natural warming periods.
There have already been around 1200 cold weather or snowfall records set for this winter in the US. Additionally, the study of tree rings to determine historical temps is not accurate. That is what this climate change hoax is based on. Scientists have been skewing data, and any smart statistician knows that you can manipulate statistical data by changing P values, sample sizes, etc. The data is inaccurate, and the liberal media is turning a blind eye to all of this.
The increase has ceased based on NOAA data since 2003, its been statistically flat and even includes a slight decrease along the way. So is global warming over?
I think a lot of you have the wrong idea. It's NOT Global *warming* It's Global *climate change*
A few posts up a guy mentioned the fact that there's been some 1200 snowfall records or some shit like that, well that if you believe in global climate change is proof.
I'm not saying I believe in it, but understand its global warming (rising temps), its global climate change (temperates are fluctuating in areas)
