that's right bitches, I just got bacon mints. not even joking. they're mints that taste like bacon, and are surprisingly delicious.
they're made by Accoutrements (site: http://accoutrements.com/products/11706.html) and have standard mint packaging (metal tin). on the front it says "Uncle Oinker's savory Bacon Mints" in artistic arrangement and fonts, with a stylized picture of a pig's face with a hat on. the back has the ingredients, manufacturing/distributing info, and a picture of uncooked bacon.
the flavor:
somewhat minty, especially at first, but that quickly fades to a more baconlike flavor. they're quite smooth, like butter mints (the little dinner mints shaped like pillows you see around easter) but much smaller. they're extremely small, in fact, which lets them put 100 in a tiny tin. the tin itself is pretty hard to open, because it locks too tight. that may alleviate over time, though.
overall: 9/10 recommend highly. if you can find these, buy them. better than you'd think, and worth the cash to amuse your friends if you don't like bacon.
