The house had a fairly large amount of crust on it when we bought it. That's why it was so cheap. We bought the place for the three acres that came with the house (and the weird floor plan). I like it here, and I'm trying to convince the SO that we should keep it rather than flip it.

Voting for Obama is voting for social healthcare and taxing doctors more, which can't be good for keeping the quality we have. Canadians already cross for border for our care... so where would we go then if healthcare is socialized?

Do you think the doctor that saved your mother's life played loopholes too?

Would you be happy if the same things you are in support of now happened years ago and make it so your mother wouldn't likely be as likely to survive? I mean, I think there are economic incentives for someone to be a quality oncologistin the US, for now, but if you don't want good healthcare or your mother anymore, then that's your call.
