I'm not trying to be an ass, just trying to get my point across. You have very strong religious beliefs (which is fine). I'm trying to understand why you support Palin. It's obvious that she promotes herself as a fiscal conservative when in fact, she is not. In your last post, you stated that being a fiscal conservative is really not important to you either. You are a social conservative and like Palin because she shares your religious beliefs. I'm just trying to clear that up.

According to Nicole Wallace of the McCain campaign, the American people don't care whether Sarah Palin can answer specific questions about foreign and domestic policy. According to Wallace -- in an appearance I did with her this morning on Joe Scarborough's show -- the American people will learn all they need to know (and all they deserve to know) from Palin's scripted speeches and choreographed appearances on the campaign trail and in campaign ads.

Just to be clear I had no idea that Palin was a Christian and I really don't care (well, I care, but you know what I mean). I agree with some of the things that describe her character like being pro-life, but I have also stated that alone that wouldn't make me vote for her.

I agree with a lot of things she talks about like smaller goverment, drilling in Alaska, not taxing the corporations like crazy, etc. I am NOT voting for her becasue she is a Christian. I would have preferred to see Romney as the VP instead of her, so that may speak for how I vote.

yeah, that would be ridiculous to vote for someone just because someone is the same as you.

what? are black people going to vote for Obama just because of his race??!?

This is what I'm getting at. We've all seen people on this forum regularly work themselves up about how "tax and spend" Democrats are ruining this country with their fiscal policies. I'm not talking about just one thread here. Suddenly a "tax and spend" Republican comes along and she's a hero. Suddenly, everything you get so worked up about isn't important anymore. So what is important?

Fuck that they need to get taxed to hell, the middle clas needs a break. Otherwise this will be another "wonderful" Bush experience.

As far as the oil drilling, I could care less lets do it, but the environmentalists are going to raise hell.

Everyone would've rather seen Romney as McCain's VP, but Palin is more likely then not, going to ruin his chances.

Obama should've gotten Hillary if he was smart, Obama's candidate is a fucking idiot!

Do you realize that taxing the corps the way the Dems would like will only hurt the workers. Owners will only take the difference from the working guy. Thus not creating new jobs and making those that work, work harder for the same pay.

As a business owner myself, if I get taxed harder its only going to be passed down to the bottom guy. I take the risk of owning and operating the business, I will pass that down to the ones that work for me. Such is life!

Or they could just completely move out of the country and make a higher profit in Mexico due to lower corporate taxes. 100% pay cut.

True that, Nebraska just lost the factory that makes and founded Vise Grips. The town is a whopping 500 or so residents and the factory employed 300 of those people. The town will most likely not be able to sustain and another small town removed off the US map.

Cost was the factor and plant being relocated to China.

When are we going to start outsourcing sex to China?
