Please learn some history and some political theory before anyone else attempts to spread misinformation on a grand scale.

How can you tell someone else to learn history after that statement. Soviet Union was as communist as communism can get. They invented communism with all its flaws. Stalin in his days had very little to gain, however guys who came after him used their position for personal gain. Thieves in Law, as they were called. Pick up some books.

Obama is a constitutional lawyer, which doesn't get brought up a lot for some reason. Reason why he chose that career path? Frank Marshall Davis, black communist writer, member of CPUSA. Obama in his book identified him simply as "Frank". His mentor, that him and his father would spend time with and listen to. Obama didn't have the decency to identify Frank Marshall Davis by his full name. How controvercial would that have been?

Obama also fails to mention his fathers anti-Western beliefs.

CPUSA helped organize the 2002 rally, where Obama came out against the Iraq War

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) endorsed Obama for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, "champion" of "Chicago's democratic left" and a long-time socialist activist.

Obama campaigned for openly socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Obama bill "The Global Poverty Act", which complies with "Millennium Goals" of United Nations, which was written by Socialist International (SI).

David Axelrod, DSA member, helped State Senator Barack Obama win his U.S. Senate seat in 2004 and currently serves as strategist and media advisor to Obama's presidential campaign.

No, Obama may not be a socialist, but that's a tight rope. And this is not even bringing up Jeremiah A Wright Jr.

Google "pretzel assassins" and get 5 hits.

Google "man walked with dinosaurs" or "end times" and get 711,000 and 5,010,000 hits respectively.

We do not need someone in a position of great power even tacitly legitimizing such far-right ideologies. Especially since there is no room for any other beliefs in such ideologies.

I'd rather have someone pushing a secular socialist agenda than any religious agenda. It is far too easy for those willing to believe in an invisible, all-knowing sky father to follow those they believe are doing the sacred work of the aforementioned imaginary being. And history has shown they will engage in patently despicable acts on behalf of their unseen ally because someone has convinced them of the need for, and absolved them of the responsibility for those acts.

This country must not be allowed to continue down the path of embracing ignorance because the truth is too challenging.

If the newly installed leader of Iraq were to come out as being not only allied against science but also pro-fundamentalist, with ties to Islamic Clerics who wish to bring about "the end of the world", would there not be an outcry from the West? Even if he protested that it was a privately held belief, would we really believe it would not somehow influence his policies?

Politics portal v • d • e Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society.[1][2] Modern socialism originated in the late nineteenth-century working class political movement. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a proletarian revolution, it being the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.[3][4]
Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth into a small section of society who control capital, and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.[1]
Socialism is not a discrete philosophy of fixed doctrine and program; its branches advocate a degree of social interventionism and economic rationalization, sometimes opposing each other. Another dividing feature of the socialist movement is the split on how a socialist economy should be established between the reformists and the revolutionaries. Some socialists advocate complete nationalization of the means of production, distribution, and exchange; while others advocate state control of capital within the framework of a market economy. Social democrats propose selectivemixed economies combined with tax-funded welfare programs nationalization of key national industries in ; Libertarian socialism (which includes Socialist Anarchism and Libertarian Marxism) rejects state control and ownership of the economy altogether and advocates direct collective ownership of the means of production via co-operative workers' councils and workplace democracy.
In the 1970s and the 1980s, Yugoslavian, Hungarian, Polish and Chinese Communists instituted various forms of market socialism combining co-operative and State ownership models with the free market exchange.[5] This is unlike the earlier theoretical market socialist proposal put forth by Oskar Lange in that it allows market forces, rather than central planners to guide production and exchange.[6] Anarcho-syndicalists, Luxemburgists (such as those in the Socialist Party USA) and some elements of the United States New Left favor decentralized collective ownership in the form of cooperatives or workers' councils.

Some may have to take this as a joke:

Google is more reliable than Wiki?

I think you forgot about a certain freedom of religion. It doesn't matter what she believes in, it will not be shoved down your throat. Some of my professors are Hindu, I am yet to hear them talk to me about it. You are confusing faith and convictions. Her faith may guide her, but as a potential president, you're given a business-class ticket to hell. That job requires to brake nearly every commandment, so it won't matter how christian she is or how far right she is. Whether she believes in dinosaurs or not, her job as a potential president is to shake hands and kiss babies, be a face of United States. If democratic congress lets her, she'll sign some bills.

It's her faith, and it has nothing to do with me or voters. Bush preached in pre-elections about Jebus being his role-model, I bet he's praying every freaking night now with the rest of the nation. Don't be ignorant, Obama's faith can't be any better when he preacher "Damns America".
