you may be looking at 8-12 dollars to make a pair of jeans. any jeans, the rest is marketing and shipping and huge fucking profits from guys like you
Saw a solid point there. Recently Yahoo had an article on jobs that overpay per year, and clothes designer was on the list. They sited pay of 60k+ per year. It kinda made me sick to my stomach that engineering degrees fetch you a starting job at 60k and live you with 60k in loans. Teachers get paid 25k to start. And all that because some fags want to buy $200 jeans and $100 dollar shirts.

There's a billion engineers in the world. (not really but soon to be with India and China churning out so many) But how many people can make really stylish faggidity jeans?

I have some Lucky jeans too, but I bought them at Ross, so they're a bit big, don't wear them much. I refuse to step foot in Abercrombie, that place is entirely too gay, I try to avoid places that blast techno and put giant murals of shirtless men in the entrance. I've never been in Hollister, and I've been in American Eagle once, but I wasn't shopping, I was with a girl.
I'm pretty picky about jeans, it's rare that I find a pair I like for a reasonable price, so I end up with very few pairs...I find plenty of expensive pairs, but I'm a poor college student now, can't be doin that anymore, plus I look enough like a "city boy" as it is, out here in the country.

Granted, 90% of jeans produced do cost around $10 each to make, but they're all assembly line produced in China.

If I'm going out on a weekend I'll wear 7's, Goldsigns, Rock n' Republic, whatever.
I'll also wear Faconable/LaCoste button down shirts etc. shirts if I'm going out on a Friday or on a date.
Most days? Cargo shorts, flops, and a t-shirt ftw. Do you really need to dress well to go to Safeway? Wal-mart? Target? Fuck no. I wear a damned suit all the time I'm beyond stoked when I can finally just wear a t-shirt and shorts.
Oh, and whoever was hating on sweatpants needs to pick up some Nike Team sweats - most comfortable thing ever aside from a warm vagina.
Now, can we talk about something that isn't along these lines? Like warm vagina?PNW Crew

Ted, why you been in Walmart anyway? Quality - Price = Value, and the prices may be low but value fucking sucks at Wally world. I haven't been there since I graduated college.
