My "Certificate of live birth" is exactly what you described. That IS the document issued by the City of Cincinnati Health Department with the seal, the registrar's signature and the date it was filed, etc. etc.

There is no other document. Now if you want to go back to Free Republic and get some more misguided "wisdom" on the authenticity of Obama's Birth Certificate, go for it. And while you are there, why not get some advice on how you can renounce your social security number, declare yourself yourown country, quit paying taxes, and build your own bunker.

Thats cool, Im trying to do many things and answer you at the same time. A lot of our laws are kind of the same being that American Law was written a lot like the UKs. Berg is looking for the original birth certificate not a repro. Ill dig for the correct link for the 2 different birth certificates. Or if you want, call the passport office and ask them about the difference.

Your blanket statement that the certificate produced is somehow something less than what it is is uninformed and wrong. In fact, what is shown on the photos on the earlier pages in fact meets the Dept. of State guidelines. You hung your hat on it being called "Certificate of Live Birth" instead of "Birth Certificate".
