I'm glad Obama won - just some of the things I am really looking forward to:

Cradle-to-grave social programs
Redistributed weath
Nearly filibuster-proof Senate
The military re-aligned to meals-on-wheels efforts
At least 2 Supreme Court justice nominations
Raised taxes for everyone (it will trickle down to us, just watch)
Media spin taken to new heights

Oh give it a rest, with the "liberals" talk, I grew up a military brat, dad was a fighter pilot, I am currently following on the same path. I am an independent who is voting intelligently and not by an R or a D. Dont be so dramatic, it is 4 years, the country is not going to fall apart. Do you think it could be worse than the last 4-8 years? We have an intelligent man who was chosen by our own citizens. Get used to your new boss and respect the office.

I would be a real challenge to have it end worse than the Bush presidency. The entire rest of the world hates us, the economy's in the toilet, and we have a record deficit. The old man and the religious wingnut were/are not the answer to our problems. Funny how throwing religion at a problem never solves it, but throwing intelligent, motivated people at it often does....
