I've met the esteemed heeter. Hell, the muthafugga was at my wedding reception. He ain't fat for living in Indiana, and he paints his dick to look like a corncob, so he definetly isn't a virgin with the cornfed Indiana girls.

      George, you type really fast.

Regarding the debacle about whether political topics should be on an E30 forum, I have to remind myself that this is an E30 forum. OT is cool and all, but we might as well rename it "Political Forum Bashfest" if every other topic is regarding Obama and his plotting and scheming.

Haha. Just because you have determined you have to be liberal to fit in doesn't mean that people who are firm in their beliefs and don't join the Obama bandwagon can't be popular. And being driven doesn't mean unhappy, especially when there is the great sense of accomplishment felt after success is had. But have fun in poli sci or philosophy or whatever major will have you unemployed or serving coffee somewhere.

There's one thing with being firm in your beliefs/values, but it's another to clutter up an E30 forum with disagreements one has with Obama's decision making. The guy will be President in a few months, some internet babble isn't going to change much. If one disagrees with his decision, go up the ladder and try to make something happen, but posting it on an E30 forum just seems very pointless.

            My opinion though.

You think I am not trying to rally together fellow intelligent people to let our voices be heard? I don't plan on restricting my voice to an internet forum or blog like a liberal would. I know how to get in touch with my representation and have done so before. Hell, one of my friends I partied with last week works for one of my senators in D.C., so he knows a lot of right people to raise opposition.

Ok. I'm 26, so, we need to let the younger adults figure things out. You do realize why children have toy guns and adults carry loaded weapons?

so we'r arguing... about arguing... about arguing in the OFF TOPIC section of the forum. Seriously?? I could see it if this was cluttering up an informational section, but come on, it's the Off Topic section. Chill out.

And George, where did you get that article? link/sources? I'd like to read it in entirety.

Good for you. It doesn't mean that econ majors are some how authorities on every subject there is, which is what Heeter portrays himself as.
