Those HTC phones are nice.. Im not baller enough to have a $600 phone with a $120 a month plan. I'll be joining back to the measley Sidekick crowd soon enough, though. I like those little things. A buddy here has the google phone, and its pretty cool. The scanner thing on it is sick.

I was the only person to pay retail for it this morning....

IN FACT, I had to kick and fucking scream! for them to even sell me the phone. Apparently, you have to be upgraded if you want the phone on launch day. Needless to say, I didnt stand out in the cold for an hour for nothing only to pay twice as much as everyone else.

Either way, verizon's EVDO network is pretty solid everywhere you go.

Not for me - I'm in the goon-docks, but I have wifi where ever I travel.

You cant argue that Verizon doesnt have the best service in the country.

The Iphone has its perks and the storm has its perks. I just played with an iphone a minute ago, i like the touch part better. But as far as typing, the storm is better. Easier at least.

I personally love ATT and I love my jailbroken iphone.

Having said that, this storm intrigues me. If I had verizon and didn't have to pay full price, I'd likely go that route. Things I hate about the iphone are the inability to upgrade or add memory, the camera sucks and no MMS.

But how can it be "just about as fast" without wifi? Is the phone's processor really that slow? It is night and day for me on wifi (don't have the 3G).

So what is the screen like? In the commercial it looks like it gives some sort of feedback or something, but I don't get it. Does it just make a clicking sound?

I just got an 8330.. After using that piece of shit LG voyager and seeing the kind of touch screen product verizon stands behind I jumped ship and never looked back. I know the Storm is being produced by RIM and all, but voyager's product support fucking blows, I'd leave it to them to suck ass at their implementation of this.

wont hurt iphone sales one bit. used a blackberry for 2 months and hated every second i had to use it. ended up switching to a pos $50 phone. as steve jobs said "I wasn't alive then, but from everything I've heard, Babe Ruth only had one home run. He just kept hitting it over and over again" on the conference call during last quarter when apple became the third largest mobile phone maker behind nokia and samsung.

the one thing i wish my BB (pearl) had is TXT conversations like WM6, i know the BBmessenger has this but have they made it like this for the normal texts yet, or are they going to, keeps things organized.
