You guys are getting your panties in a knot because I pointed out the fact that you have a shitty beer selection back East? Cry me a fucking river.

heh, the first time my brother in law came down from canada to the local haggens he about shit himself. I went to a liquor store in alberta (there were 4 in as many square blocks, I'm not kidding) and all they had was Corona and Kokane.. so I picked out a bottle of Australian cabernet sauvignon. :p

budwiser is pretty harmless, it's not exactly PBR or Michelob Ultra (ugh). bland, tasteless, but not disgusting. It's kinda like drinking shasta cola VS coke.

See I much prefer PBR to Bud. PBR is the best of the shitty beers IMO.

Yep. They haven't invented "trucks" to move goods from coast to coast. We East Coast rubes would have our tastebuds blown away by the intense hoppiness of Budweiser American Amber. Our palates cannot even fathom anything beyond 40 IBU.

well I've never actually tried it. Michelob Ultra on the other hand.. let's just say a certain college kid we both know wouldn't drink it after I gave it to him for free. :p

most of these beers are made in small quantities, unless you have a specialty store (which you probably do) you're not going to find them at your local gas station.

Ok, try to find me some Boundary Bay Scotch Ale or some Lagunitas IPA. If you can find either of these local to you, I will send you a few bottles of some beer from the PNW.

h0lmes, ever been to the north fork brewery? good shit up there. they let you taste anything free, but of course you're expected to buy.. and the food is awesome too. but you're best off showing up with a beard, boots and lifted 4x4 truck rather than an E30. :p
