Seems decent.
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.Comment

cocstco.com if you are a member and newegg.com are the shit. Can't go wrong with Samsung typically.

Samsung is the new Sony oddly enough. I use to think of Samsung as a maker of a toaster oven. Not anymore.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Just a suggestion - you can get a 22-24" monitor for around the same price, that does 1080p. look at the dell 2407wfp (model number may have been updated since I bought mine). I think the new one does HDMI as well as DVI, and does 1080p. awesome quality, no ghosting, lots of I/O.
I guess it doesn't have a TV tuner but I haven't had the desire to pay $60 a month for shitty cable in so long it doesn't matter to me. mine is used mostly for DVD and divix/xvid video (DVD player does both) and the occasional Wii session with the wife. If I want high def I play h.624 and *.mkv videos from my HTPC with a 1tb drive I just got.. :DComment

that, and cable/sattelite TV is super-over-compressed. It looks like ass, I don't care if it's 1080p or 720p, all I see are high-def artifacts.Unless he's going to be watching Blu-Ray on it, that won't matter. No matter what either of the satellite providers claim, or whatever your local digital cable provider claims, none of them broadcast in true 1080i or p. Blu-Ray is currently the only true HD 1080p source.
My 50" Samsung DLP is 720p, and it looks just as good, if not better, even on HD cable channels as my friend's 1080p plasma Pioneer.Comment
