The Islamic world is full of extremist organizations that are under orders form their god to kill all westerner's by any means necessary, thats why you have 8 year old kids who ambition in life is to become a martyr and blow them selves up an try to take a few westerner's with them or other muslims that are not thinking along their extreme views. Islam is still a 700 or so years behind the big western religions in its development, the shit they are pulling is what the Christians were doing during the crusades and dark ages (the mislims are still holding a grudge form 800 years ago) just with modern technology so they are much better at it.
