I see you're still butt hurt from our discussion on guns as evidenced in the fact you take shots at me without any discussion behind it. Sounds like you're made of kiddie stuff.

The guy was being arrested for being involved in an earlier fight.
And here I was thinking cops were supposed to deescalate a scene not make it worse.

This link has some better videos of the actual shooting and info on the incident

Until police officers are required to act as human beings and as long as they are allowed to act as animals, I ask today's youth to avoid situations where executions are likely to occur.

He bases all his opinions on a liberal political ideology. As predictable as the morning shit. Man wear uniform with badge-bad. Take away badge-good. Riot bad --but consequences good. Undermines man with badge. Thats how it works on that side of the aisle.
The cop apparently was either fired or quit. He will be tried. The video evidence will tell the story. If he made a mistake, well, there's a crime for that. He will also have to live with it for the rest of his life.

I heard in SF there was a police internal memo involving training for dealin with transgender cops? What is the story there?

Oh, the reason the cop resigned is so he can invoke his 5th Amendment rights, which cops don't have.

Tell you what - go leave your nice E30 overnight in Oakland and see what's left of it in the morning.

I have more sympathy for the cop who went to work that night, to protect people, got caught up in some drama of a bunch of thugs who were fighting, broke it up and now his life is ruined.

Break the law, act like a dumb ass, get in a brawl, resist arrest and something bad happens?

            What a surprise.

Like I said, in my younger days, I've had the cops draw their weapons on me for far less, but even at that young age, I knew better then to act stupid unlike this upstanding citizen with the prison record.

Too bad more of these "Protestors" didn't get their stupid asses capped last night.

Rioting and Looting should be grounds to be shot on sight.

105 arrested last night, numerous business and cars trashed, Black "Protesters" turning on White "Protesters" and probably more of the same tonight.

Where's the outrage when a cop gets shot and killed by these gang-bangers for no reason?

            Anyone?
Where's the praise for cops when they do good things? A million cops on the job every day, but, all you hear about in the national media is the one fuck up which causes riots, property damage and more collateral damage.
Who is going to pay for all that damage? Maybe they ought to surcharge the media for inciting riots.
This shouldn't have happened. I'm sure there is so much video from the scene that they will be able to reconstruct what happened and deal with it. Sad.

Oh yes here we go with the "cops get no love EVA!"....

Chisum's mantra....Cops should be allowed to search homes and tap into your phone lines because it's good for you and protects you. Cops should be able to do anything they want, they are good people and protect us from the bad guys that would otherwise take over this great land of ours. (Raises right arm) Sieg Heil !!!
You might want to start reading the paper or even watching the news, cops get plenty of good press. You may have heard of a show called "COPS". Might want to watch that as well once in a while. Or several of the other cop shows they have on now.

But I hope this cop gets the justice he deserves for this awefull "mistake". I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

So they drew their guns on you. And somehow, you can't grasp that had it been officer fuckwit from the BART station, you yourself might not be here posting today?

Where are you today? You obviously did something to warrant a police officer to draw on you, and they didn't do that because you were being such an upstanding citizen at the time I'm guessing. Difference is, your alive and I would imagine a much better person today. This guy is dead.

If someone dies as a direct result of my negligence at work, I sure as hell don't get to offer a "My Bad!" and move on. Why should he?

Liberals don't give law enforcement the "benefit of the doubt." Who the fuck do you think you are kidding? You think cops are brown shirts out to arrest and jail you, which by the way, you probably deserve. If you haven't worn the orange jump suit already for rioting somewhere.

don't worry about joshh, the scariest things he has to worry about in Portland are hungry stoners and meth addicts. :p

seriously though, it says a lot about the protesters when they were vandalizing business and properties owned by black people. It really seems like they just wanted an excuse to behave badly without consequences.

apparently the BART cop in question went out to nevada to escape death threats, then turned himself in on the murder charge.
