well seems my Torrent snagged up on something somewhere and I lost it. I wanted something a little differant this time for a DD every day work horse knife.
I wanted something built to the hilt, must have were S30V steel, around 3" blade and STOUT I really wanted a Sebenza by Chris Reeve but I am not paying 400 bucks for a tool knife. I settled on a Bradley Cutlery, Alias II.
S30V 2.96" black blade, 6v Titanium scales with amazing quality built by benchmade for Bradley. This is what benchmade built 15 years ago quality wise in this price point. Its not an assisted opener or an auto, like I usually go with but this thing opens amazingly fast and easy for 100% manual opening folder. Oh and razor sharp outta the box, blade lock up is like a fucking bank vault, it dam near feels like a small fixed blade when opened up with almost 0 PLAY in any axis just a slight side to side flex at the pivot screw. I think after I get it broken in and minor adjustment to the pivot tension I think it will all but go away totally . Really bad ass little tool knife, if you can find them, seems they are either out of production now or suffering form the same thing as the CR Sebenza and always on back order. Though a bit spendy at 250ish and about half the price of the CR, if you appreciate good workmanship and the highest quality materials and 100% USA built, then you will not be disappointed with a Bradley
