-girl arrested for driving parents car without permission
-cop tells her to remove her shoes
-girl kicks shoes off towards the officer
-officer kicks her in the stomach, throws her against the wall, pulls her to the ground by her hair and punches her twice in the head

Even if the girl was purposely trying to hit the officer with her shoes, the officer was still way out of line. I think he should lose his job and go to jail. Any other grown man that beat a child would have to go to jail, it shouldn't be any different just because hes a cop.

That really is fucked up. The cop got aggravated and lost it and then lied about it. I'm especially disgusted at the part where he said the shoe caused a blood blister, when it was actually caused by him hitting his shin on the toilet while slamming her face into the wall. It may have not been the best thing to do, but I highly doubt there was any wrong intent behind kicking off her shoes. I used to do that a lot when I was a kid, in fact I still do when I wear my Vans.

I know I get that I fully understand that. You even point at a cop they take that as a threat an you get gang tackled and they try to break you finger off. I have seen that happen 2 times and had it happen to me once.

He's got a point. These cops are representatives for all of law enforcement. When shit like this goes down, it gives all cops a bad name. How am I supposed to know a good cop from a bad cop when I am confronted by one?

Also, I find the usual cop intimidation to be counter productive. If cops were actually friendly and helpful, rather than intimidating and demanding like they are trained to be, people would be more inclined to cooperate.
