If it did, the rich would get richer, and the poor would continue to lose what little money they had. Why did the DOW drop? Because the rich failed to get richer and were understandably pissed about that.

Yes, the words "hope" and "change" are in my vocabulary. I "hope" that Obama's "changes" will be successful. This is a whole lot more credit than your camp is giving him, and it's frankly annoying to see you all so convinced that what Rush told you is right, and blaming Obama for being a socialist and bringing this country into ruin with his draconian tax program (that doesn't even affect you), without proposing any better ideas*.

          * tax cuts is NOT A BETTER IDEA.
dude, the brightest economic minds in the world have sold short the market and obama. he has had a huge effect on the markets for the past three months. the fact that his so called stimulus plans are anti business pro large government spending black holes is a huge reason the markets continue to go down.

More like the last 6 months.

Everyone I know who is a player in the market got out once it appeared Obama would win due to the numerous taxes that he would impose on earnings.

Obama doesn't like Capitalism, and Capitalism doesn't like Obama's socialist agenda of punishing those who create jobs and wealth.

No, we now have a budget that equals it in spending.

You must be talking about the rampant conservatism.

You too will become a conservative once you acquire some possessions and some wealth and will wish to protect it. Your young idealism is normal and what not but you will change your tune some day.

Not always true. Remember Ted Turner, the über mega media mogul?

"In 1998, Turner pledged to donate $1 billion of his then $3 billion to United Nations causes, and created the United Nations Foundation to administer the gift. The foundation "builds and implements public-private partnerships to address the world’s most pressing problems, and broadens support for the UN through advocacy and public outreach." In 2006, the foundation delivered its billionth dollar to UN causes — $600m of which came from Turner and $400m from public and private partners. Turner has pledged to use the remaining $400m of his commitment to leverage additional funds for UN causes and activities."

Some people are more aware of other people's existence than others...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
