I heard it's getting pretty ugly, beheadings and shit. I'm one lucky son of a bitch because I just got back from Cabo San Lucas and I made a drunk mistake that could have been very bad. One night I was at the bar "EL SQUID ROE" (by myself) fucking twisted off Tequila. I met a local Mexican girl in there that spoke almost no English, we get in a cab and take a 30min ride back to her apartment which is in the ghetto. I've seen some shit living in Philly my whole life but her project gave "ghetto" a new meaning for me. Anyway, I ended up closing the deal....waking up in her place with a nasty hang over and wondering where the fuck I was. Cabs didn't even hang in this area lol. I had to take a public bus back to my resort with a bunch of locals. Fucking crazy times. I'm lucky I look Hispanic.

i think its more the northern states of mexico and mexico city you have to worry about. i saw nothing remotely scary in southern mexico last month. those border towns and us border tows,,, no thanks

Yeah I heard Mexico City has big problems. Not sure if you have ever seen "Ganglands" on the History Channel but it's an awesome show. The Mexican Mafia is supposedly the most dangerous and largest in the world. Los Zetas are basically took over the whole drug cartel after Escobar was killed.

Yep, northern towns suck balls in how bad trafficking is and such. However, all that shit has started to his south too, like Cancun, where I'm from, is now waking up to 3 or 4 murders a day, between corrupt cops and mafia and sometimes just the media who is publishing these stories. It's sad really but not much that can be done when the government has been the source of all this bullshit for the past 70 years.

I was in Cabo San Lucas a couple months ago. It shows you a whole new meaning for the phrase "dirt poor".
