Currently watching another boring Easter religious movie on the life of Jesus. And something struck me. All the images we see of him depicts a white guy wearing turbans and djelabah...

Which makes sense as Palestine is in the Middle East. So basically, Jesus should be Arab. Not necessarely looking like a good white Caucasian dude. Maybe Jesus was black. Maybe he was even gay. I wonder how much of the real Jesus (or the original religion) remains after the Roman Catholic church has performed its clean-up.

Jewish ain't a race either. Isn't "arab" a global ethnicity for people from semit origins having migrated from Orient to the Middle East and North Africa?

The initial debate is only about an old reality having been adapted to a local vision. Some say that Jesus could have been a woman. Why not? I wasn't there and don't have any element to contradict.
