So, of all you railing against gays serving openly in the military, and all the supposedly horrible things that will cause, how many of you are actually serving in the military right now or have served in the past? That's right, almost none of you insecure blowhard bigots. If you did serve, or do, you'd likely realize there are many more important things that matter to men and women serving our country in the armed forces than if the guy/gal showering next to them might be checking them out.

Been in since '96. This whole argument is interesting for sure.
Mormon doctrine... well, I don't need to go there. (all of you non-LDS "experts" will fill in the blanks, I'm sure...) My own personal position is that I don't agree, but it's not a friendship killer or anything like that. Just like all you Mustang lovers.
But... just like everyone else in the military, I have to keep personal stuff personal, and really that applies to EVERYONE; gay, straight, white, black, brown, red, yellow, polka dot and plaid. As long as everyone else can do the same, we don't have any problems.

We are all creations of our environments - and we live in...man made environments. Biological and sociological. Our own doing? To some extent, a possibility, unless you're not down with critical thinking.

I'm not looking to blame anyone or anything for homosexuality any more than I want to find a reason why women seem to like shoes. You see homosexuality as a problem and I do not. Go ahead and blame your parent's generation for the shit we have to deal with now, or our "environment", but even that sort of whining gets us nowhere.

See, that's the beauty of natural selection. It's doing what it does right now, whether I have an opinion on it or not. Your idea of eliminating charity programs is unrealistic (ie ludicrous). You're losing your edge; just go with it.

If you were to voice your opinions or "critical thinking" amongst just about every woman I know personally, you would probably end up on their blacklist (that's the "do-not-fuck-much-less-talk-to" list), thereby making your chances of procreation pretty slim. How's that for natural selection?
