I thought ethnic cleansing was rascist in nature. Perhaps a little less hatred is in order.

You are 100% correct. Ethnic cleansing requires a high dose of racism. If one thinks another human being is inferior, just for belonging to "that" group.

As far as Winston's comment on evil Muslims, I'd call that a not-too-wise racist comment. Very similar to General Patton's. Which points that great commanders aren't immune of being racists and ignorants. It's the same old two millenum old antagonism and partisanery. Jews against Christians against Muslims against Jews. It never ends and is a bad secular habit...

They are similar, but not the same. And both have outright murder and immorality in them.
The Qur'an however promotes to its followers to maim kill and not befriend Jews and Christians etc.
The Bible mostly says it's okay for God to do it (double standard).

I don't understand how one can follow a religion where they have to justify not applying parts of it when the religion requires full belief.

2 issues here.

1. taking things out of context
2. the english translation of the quran does not do it justice

For example the word friend is not even close to the word used in the quran in arabic. The word is arabic is owlia and it does not mean friends. It's more like a person you trust with the protection of your family, the use of your personal passwords and and basically full trust of all aspects of your life.

there are very few people in my life that i take as owlia but the vast majority of my friends are christian and atheist.

this is just an example. there are many more like it.





the whole issue with applying sharia law like cutting off a hand when one steals. these laws do not apply unless they are within the confines of the all feared Islamic State led by a Khalifah of which there are none today. So any country who applies any of these rules today is not acting against Islamic rulings.

I know that and thanks for clarifying that as well. I was just giving these guy an example of how muslims follow laws of the book and therefore you see less crimes and diseases in the muslim countries. Good example is fornication, majority of muslims dont fornicate until marriage, so thats why there is less std cases in those muslim countries.. etc etc..

Patton's anti semitic nature was well known, not sure how that applies here, other than it should be better known. For some real racism look at our propaganda posters from WW2 re Japan.
