    But if putting all your problems/hopes/dreams/responsibilities into a magic man in the sky helps you go to sleep at night, more power to you.     This is human nature to try to explain everything that we can't. When this happens its just seems that people default on some known explanation; miracles being one of them.

    take this analogy. imagine a 2d person try to think in a 3d capacity. either that person can't or it would be very difficult.

    Surely our knowledge of medicine will continue to grow enough that what we see as 'modern medicine' today will be laughable 'tomorrow'.
