your logic in preventing gay marriage because of the health risk involved with AIDS is also very flawed in the sense that there is no gay marriage now and AIDS is still on the rise, there could be a thought process that allowing gay marriage may down the road create more single partner relationships. There are also economic benfits as well.

Ignore any mention of AIDS rates--it's just a non-sequitur that lets trolls who don't have a legitimate argument take control of the discussion.

I didn't say Congress should decide, I said it was immoral. About 15,000 new cases of AIDS from dudes banging dudes is reported every year since about 2001. That's like 7 times as many US citizens that have died or will die, than in all of the Iraq and Afghan wars. So to write legislation that supports and gives rights to a lifestyle that kills that many people is fucking stupid and "not protecting its constituents".

Now my statements may be extreme, but the fact remains if you and a buddy go to a GAY bar and pick up two dudes one of you is getting AIDS. Any lifestyle choice that has those odds shouldn't be considered "ok" or "normal" and we sure as fuck shouldn't give them more rights.

What do you make of the remaining majority (54%) that has AIDS and is heterosexual? Are you also condemning them for immorality?
