Why should anyone care? I don't care about the religious groups in my area, nor do I care about attention seeking whiners who feel oppressed by a "Christian" society.

Am I really the only non-religious person who doesn't give a damn about saying "Under God" in the Pledge, or other such trivial things?

Considering the phrase "under god" was added (in 1954!) not out of some desire to become closer to, or honor "god", but to try to paint a black and white picture of a christian America, and "godless" Soviet Union, I personally think all Christians should give a damn at such a cheap use of their faith.

For most people their religion is an integral view of how they think things should be.

Basically it will never happen.

While the US is blessed with Bill Graham's wisdom and other "godly" billboards, "Jesus loves you" bumper stickers, "In God we trust" dollar bills, and that the religious groups believe in fairy tales but can't accept that others don't, the rest of the world takes a different path.
