I'm not going to argue theology, but history I can do.

Their bible IS the same as your bible, though they interpret it differently and use a different translation ("your" bible is also a translation). Catholicism is one of, if not the oldest branch of Christianity in existence. Protestantism started out as a rebellion from the Catholic way of doing things, spurned on by Luther. I'm guessing you're a Christian, which means you're one of the various Protestant flavors, which came from Catholicism. Many of their and your traditions are similar (communion, baptism, etc), yet you don't do the bullshit like indulgences, confession, rape boys, etc.

See what I'm getting at? They're not Mormons, who just made up a religion a couple hundred years ago and do weird shit. The Catholics have been doing weird shit longer than your particular religious flavor has existed.

I'm really not any religion but I can tell you one thing, Catholics go against everything the fucking bible says thus, they're not Christian's. They may say they are, but they are not.

No, they're not Christian's because they constantly go against the Bible, have made their own version of it and created their own religion called Catholism. Being brought up in a good "Christian" home, It's offensive when people group Catholics and bible following people in the same group. Probably the same way people group all Arab's as Terrorists. But it's cool for the media and everyone else to blame Christianity for everything wrong in this world when the actual religion itself has been skewed and overshadowed by a bunch of bald 10 year old loving pervs.

the point of this thread was not to argue/debate religion itself. The point was more about the difference in outcry. Crusade is basically the english version of Jihad, So trying to get this thread back on track could you imagine a Muslim school with Jihad written in large letters on the side of the school? What kind of out cry would that have? If a community center "under the guise of peace" is a huge controversy what would Jihad on the side of building do when Crusade has zero controversy.
