    THIS.

Compared to the rest of congress, the presidents are squeaky clean. The worst part is the lack of accountability.. It took a lot of people to get us in this mess, and those people who caused it are probably the furthest removed from the consequences.

I do think the stimulus helped. At least in OH. A lot of roads around here are getting work that's been needed for years, a lot of companies that were set to fold seem to be hanging in there. It wasn't as effective as we'd hoped but I do feel that it was better than nothing. I also feel that the war is helping a lot of families out there in terms of income so it isn't a total waste. Like the stimulus I suppose but the public doesn't benefit from the product.

When faced with a possible "jobless recovery" a lot of the old techniques aren't going to work so well. Rebuilding highways worked AWESOME back in the WWII era, but back then there wasn't the technology or the incentive to outsource jobs on a massive scale. On this front our leaders have totally failed us. It happened before 2008 and it hasn't been fixed yet.

It is no one person's or one parties fault. It also did not happen over night, and is damn sure not going to be fixed over night. I think the best we can all do is...worry about ourselves. Make sure your personal life and money are in good order. Pay attention to who you vote for. If you even vote? (if you don't vote, SHUT UP!)
