You're seriously okay with people seeing, in detail, how your penis looks? You're okay with people patting you down, inches away from your dick?
Trust me, this is a hassle.

I have a few friends who work for TSA and people don't realize that its not everyone that gets the full patdown. They have people who walk down the lines and will go up to random people and if your hands test positive for certain explosive chemicals that's when they pat you down or if you refuse to go through the body scan. I have heard some of the craziest stories from the airport and I don't care if I get patted down. In the end if that lowers the risk of me dying. I'm all ok with it. And only supervisors are allowed to do pat downs as well.Originally posted by Good & TightIt takes real man to mount a big woman, all you haters are just scared boys.

Yes and no. I wouldnt mind the scanner at all. However, I've been patted down before and got the karate chop on both sides of the coin purse. If they patted me down for absolutely no reason, I would be upset, especially since I went through the scanner and am not suspicious.

Someone remind me again why we go through all this.....
DHS audit says TSA, in spite of many billions of dollars spent, finds no more contraband now than in 2000. 102 million+ commercial flights since 9/11 and the only two actual threats were not detected by airport screeners, but by passengers. In the case of the so-called undi-bomber, calls by the father stating his son was a threat and planned to blow up a plane went unheeded.
So, why do we have to go through this?
The weapons used by the perpetrators of 9/11 were planted on the plane beforehand, but secure area passcodes were not changed after 9/11? No further screening for secure area employees, but we grope nuns and children? Ridiculous.
Wanna be safe on a plane? Be aware of your surroundings. Observe others, and do not hesitate to act if convinced something is about to happen.
That sure as hell doesn't cost billions of dollars.Comment

An interesting thought I read..........TSA is there to protect the planes that cost millions of dollars, not the passengers.
Think about it, if a terrorists goal is to kill as many innocent civilians as possible, why not just walk up to the check-in line on a busy saturday morning.........no machines, pat downs, bomb sniffing dogs. Walk in the door and BOOOM!
Depending on the airport you just took out 50-1000 people.
I also love hearing stupid comments from people like, "We should just arm all the passengers, terrorists wouldn't hijack the planes then." Yeah, because they are obviously so afraid of dying.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

TSA. Is a jobs program nothing more nothing less. If it was the airlines madateing this I would have no issues with any of it at all. Its the over reaching federal govt that I have issues with!!!!The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

Yes, and let's not even talk about AMTRAK. Many stations are completely unmanned. They check NOTHING. A determined terrorist could get into the US near El Paso, hop on an Amtrak train, and ride that very train directly to within a block of the US Capitol. A tiny amount of radioactive material in a suitcase bomb could render parts of DC uninhabitable for decades.
But we're too busy fondling nuns and kids and pulling pacifiers out of sleeping babies because they're suspicious!Comment

And that is because of whiny leftists that complain that "profiling" is wrong!
It would be the same if cops were told to randomly pull people over to check for DUIs, not you know, waiting til 1am and see which cars are swerving and/or driving erratically.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Except you need a license to drive, not to be a passenger. You need a pilot's license to fly planes.
Except it wouldn't. Not enough power in the reflective x-ray to see through you (that would be fucking scary as hell). Anything fully inserted into a body cavity won't show up. I'm sure you could fit more than enough C4 up your ass to take down a plane. Next time you see some sweaty nutjob pressing their ass against the bulkhead, think about that. Maybe they'll mandate taking a shit in a bucket to prove there's no bomb in your ass? What if you already took a shit? Get arrested? fined $10k for non-compliance?This seems like a big thing on the news lately. I'm surprised we don't have a thread. Here are my opinions. Although I have never flown, planes fly over my head everyday. 3 categories; scanners, pat downs, and employee low level screening.
The scanners.
If someone has a bazooka in their ass, it would be found on the machine. Who cares if someone sees you "naked." If your so insecure about your small penis, or your religion doesn't let you go through the scanner, than find another type of transportation. I couldn't agree more to this.
Employees low level of screening.
This would be just another loop hole. The argument is that the pilots are already in control of the plane, and have background checks, etc. I think for everyone's safety, everyone should be checked. No exemptions.
As for the pilots, they're right. If they really wanted to fuck shit up, all they have to do is take off, get up some speed, and fly the plane right back into the terminal. Or imagine what the ground crew could do with all that jet-A and a single strike anywhere match?
Nevermind all the stupid screening, look at what they do let you on the plane with. Pencils, pens, markers, laptops, power cords, belts.
If you can't think of at least one way to kill at least one person with each of those, you're not trying.
And laptops are the perfect place to put bombs. All you need is plastic explosive, and an x-ray machine, and you should be able to make a battery bomb that not only powers the laptop long enough to pass a power on test, but has enough explosive in it to take out a plane, and pass an x-ray inspection by a moron. Hell, they got confused by laptops with solid state harddrives, you really think they can tell the difference between one area of cloudy color with wires and another? I doubt it. It's only a matter of time before the terrorists try it, and they ban laptops as carry on.
Then they'll use GPS in the cargo hold to determine when it's in the air (or if they're smart, use a mobile broadband card, when it loses signal, that means you're high enough up to go boom, or they could use the built in accelerometers to determine when you're taking off, arm, then explode whenever).
Reactionary security is a blue-print on how to circumvent it. Humans are smart. Committees are dumb.Last edited by u3b3rg33k; 11-18-2010, 10:42 AM.
