Nando, my opinion from watching the 'cuckold' debate here, you are repurposing the definition of a word from factual basis to an emotional response.
(I'm not saying you personally are repurposing, but it does appear that a media resourse has assisted you in coming to your conclusion on what the word means)
This whole back and forth looks like the birth of newspeak.
How about instead of fighting semantics we get back to the slightly less orange (Less time for tanning, or lost his bronzer) Commander in Chief?

This is why it's good to know your history. John Quincy Adams holds the title as the least legitimate president the US has ever had. Based on the popular vote, he only garnered just under a third of the population's support (32.18%), but won the presidency when no one could secure enough votes in the electoral college and the vote fell to the House of Representatives. In what became known as the "Corrupt Bargain" by Andrew Jackson, who finished runner-up in the four way race, John Quincy Adams was selected when Henry Clay threw his support to Adams, giving him the votes in the House to win.
Know thy history friends, at least it makes this thread slightly more intelligent.

He isn't his president because he feels that way. Why do facts and history have to be brought up?Si vis pacem, para bellum.

You can't just tear the system down that's been in place for over 200 years because you don't like the result this time around. This is what makes some of the liberals who cry not my president seem callow, you don't get to pick and choose when to respect the law.

The electoral system is certainly a flawed system if you believe that the popular vote should win the day. However, the electoral system is the law. There have been other presidents that have won the presidency without winning the popular vote (John Quincy Adams, Rutherford Hayes, Benjamin Harrison, George W. Bush). Obviously, most of us were alive when GWB became president and there certainly was some unhappiness at the Supreme Court decision over the Florida recount, but in the end, people accepted the rule of law and he was the President.

We can have the open debate about the electoral college and we can do something about it through the systems we have in place to make those changes, but for now, its the law.
Its pretty clear that the reason why the electoral college exists is to prevent what happens in Cook County, IL from happening on the national level. Chicago runs the whole state of Illinois and that not reasonable.Si vis pacem, para bellum.

you misread his post, he literally said the most votes for a republican candidate which is factually correct.“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”
